One problem I have had regarding Being Pragmatic! in my life is the incredible extent of information that is available now...good, mediocre, and bad. Just where does one start. About a year ago, a friend of mine sent me a link to a site that has helped me a lot. Not only is it a good source of information...it also feeds my mind. And if your mind is anything like mine, it needs to be fed, or it wonders off in the strangest places.
That link is to a site called TED: Ideas Worth Spreading. By the way, TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design. If you aren't already very familiar with the content of this site, and if this is all new to you, I recommend that you go to ted.com and spend some quality time there. It will open your eyes to what's going on in this world today, as discussed (on YouTube by the way) by the most creative minds this world has to offer...all for free...all for you to learn...for free...did I say free? Free...the wisdom of the world's most creative minds.
And by the way, if the first one or two of the videos aren't your cup of tea, then look further. These discussions range from the wonders of the universe, to the wonders of your backyard garden, to the wonders of how to manage that huge level of debt you may have accumulated. Just pick and area for Being Pragmatic!...it's bound to be discussed there.
